Toronto - Niagara Bike Train

The Bike Train Initiative launched in summer 2007 and introduced bike racks onboard select VIA Rail departures between Toronto and Niagara Falls. Building on the success of the pilot year, which included broad media coverage and being selected as the "I Bike T.O. First Annual Award" winner, the Bike Train schedule and promotions have been expanded for 2008. The Bike Train is an independently coordinated, promoted and ticketed service, utilizing existing passenger trains and schedules.
